Dymond M. McCoy
About Me

Dymond McCoy is from Atlanta , Georgia. She has received a Bachelors of Science degree in Film and Communications and a Masters of Science degree in Marketing with a specialization in Digital Marketing and Social Media from The University of Alabama. Dymond made the most of her college years by lending hands in numerous volunteer opportunities, being an active member of many student organizations and gained on the job experience by working with companies like Empowering Brands.
For the past six years she mentored elementary school students at Maxwell Elementary, and volunteered for can drives and food banks. In addition to her community service, she also served as Capstone Vice President of Radio Television Digital News Association and was a Correspondent for ESPNU Campus Connection.
Dymond’s story contributions reflect her excellent news reporting and script editing skills as well as her highly developed investigative skills and interview abilities. During her time as an undergraduate student Dymond covered stories for Alabama Public Radio, where she interviewed public officials such as junior United States Senator from Alabama , Luther Strange and Mayor of Fairfield Alabama, Kenneth Coachman. She was also a Public Relations intern for Dr. Richard Showers Sr. 2016 campaign. By using her analytical skills she helped him gain 500 new voters in his District One daily. Aside from politics, Dymond McCoy helped Campus Evolution Villages increase their leasing percentage to 100% as a Community Ambassador and assisted Zellus Marketing by promoting their brand and teaching a LinkedIn class.
Dymond McCoy was awarded a Capstone Leadership award for her position as Vice President of Radio Television Digital News Association. Also, The University of Alabama Career Center recognized Dymond for 2018 Intern Spotlight.
